I really feel for Jean who has had to experience first-hand the depraved and callous actions of someone who just enjoys killing. Her efforts to save these poor birds who are persecuted relentlessly is appreciated.

I think there is some confusion (according to Ruth Tingay) as to whether it is three birds or five. It's possible the police are counting the two kites as buzzards. Whatever the number, one is too many.

Until these crimes are correctly categorized, more resources issued, and the police cease to be part of the problem these awful, senseless, and mindless crimes will continue.

I wonder if the next government (presumably Labour) will take these crimes more seriously.

Of course the wealthy think they are above the law, they always have and no one in authority want to upset them.
