😭 Absolute b******* I hope they get prosecuted, but they won't. Until there are proper punishments for wildlife crime it's never going to stop! Just imagine what happens that we don't know about...
This is terrible. How could anyone throw babies in a skip without feeling something. The issue is clear. There is no protection or regard for our wildlife. If the punishment reflected the crime, councils & workmen would think twice. Imagine what message this would convey if all those responsible, ie working on this site, irrespective of whether they were caught in the act, were imprisoned & heavily fined, which had to be paid by them or their families.
Those responsible should be named and shamed. Then respectable companies can decide whether to do business with those who deliberately destroy what is left of our wildlife. Also the public would have the opportunity to let the bosses of such companies how they feel about this obscene vandalism. Fines are nothing more than the cost of doing business - lost tenders hit them where they really hurt and reputational damage hurts future prospects and serve as a deterrent to others.
At least the council are taking it seriously - hopefully they will make an example of this company's flagrant disregard for the laws protecting nature (weak as they are). After all, they have made the council look like the bad guys in this.
Outrageous, disturbing and upsetting!!😠😣😢i agree with everyone else here💔💔💔isn't it way past time that crimes against nature are punished by prison sentences??! It seems that everyone trying to protect nature are up against mindless thugs who care more about money & contracts than the living world around them, without which, well, we know dont we...😓😡😞💔💔💔
SCUM they know exactly what theyve done and the penalty should be harsh VERY HARSH
Outrageous disregard for established wildlife habitat!

The "trash" workers "must" be sacked and prosecuted, for the "disgusting" "callous" behaviour, of the way they treat, "NATURES CREATURES"

The council should be carrying out the ecology report not the contractor!
Harsh financial penalties are due and the contractor should be ‘struck off’
There did not seem to be any mention of searching the whole skip....Are we trying to fob this off to the public as 'Job Done'
🤬🤬🤬🤬Just don’t care!!!!!
Idiot contractors, poorly educated and un caring. Shame on the person who did this.
they thought nobody was watching and could get away with it ... SCUM
