This is the response I got from Black Cow when I wrote voicing my disappointment with their association, encouraging to see what they think.
“Thank you for your email.
We are aware of the recent incident and are deeply disappointed to be associated with it in any way. Our presence at Childhay Manor is limited to a modest set of leased outbuildings. We have no involvement with, nor any connection to the activities in question which took place some way from our area of operations.
I'm heartened to see that the public are becoming more aware as to just how vile these 'hunters' are but every time I read about their barbaric practices I'm so deeply disgusted which leaves me bewildered as to why lawmakers and lawkeepers are doing so little. I would like to see every member of every hunt being prosecuted and having property confiscated and sold to recompense so many heroes who are caring for wounded animals (the few survivors) and for the hounds who've been so abused for the whole of their lives. I appreciate that I'm living in dream-land.
