A excellent article. I live in a rural area that is infested by several fox hunts and at least one hare coursing pack, as well as being visited regularly by two different stag hunts. As someone who has been forced to live with the horrors of hunt crime for many years, just because of where I live, I can confirm that these people are the worst of the worst, not just organised criminals but brutal sociopaths, bullies, and entitled antisocial yobs. My family and I are literally desperate for help. We just hope Labour will do what they promised or it'll carry on for another two decades. One idea for a campaign: if more of us call the police to report hunt crime, they'll have to spend more of their budget handling it. Thus wasting vast amounts of taxpayer money that they can not afford to lose. Financially, if hunting continued, it could prove a catastrophe to the police. In a world where money talks, it might be worth a go. I always advise people to call 999 if they see a hunt in progress and register their presence via a 101 if it isn't urgent. The police have recommended this action themselves. I shall stop ranting now! Love and peace x
Thatโs a great idea, KittyKat. I am so sorry that you have been horrifically subjected by hunt crime for so long. I canโt understand why Labour are dragging their feet about the hunting loophole and am so angry about it. Thank you for caring about wildlife.
It would be wholly inadequate to say that these 'hunters' are just a bunch of shits in clothing. Even if I wrote every expletive I know, it still wouldn't exexpress what I feel. So I reiterate - they are a BUNCH OF SHITS.
The Courts are obviously unable to sentence appropriately - the fines are just pocket money to the hunting fraterniry. All their weapons should be confiscated and destroyed while their properties should be confiscated and all should be sold - the revenue woud fund purpose-built 'tower block' could be suitable housing for them?- they have proved that they are unfit as humans and therefore unfit to live with the rest of us.
