This is so very frustrating. The vast majority of the public both rural and urban want to see trail hunting banned. I don’t understand what Labour are afraid of. There’s no need for a consultation on a new bill, they simply need to strengthen the existing Hunting Act. We must all keep the pressure on to bring this about. 💪🦊
This proposed ban was a smokescreen and a parliamentary ambush the Labour government fell right into. To attach a ban on something already banned into the new animal welfare legislation was and act of utter stupidity and must have had the Countryside Alliance barristers, lawyers and the opposition parties clapping their hands with glee. A simple amendments to the existing fox hunting ban would have resolved this issue in a single days session in parliament. With the massive Labour majority no vote or scrutiny in the lords would be required. Labour have been duped again. IDIOTS

I went to my Mp’s ( Sam Rushworth) surgery last week determined to get some answers re hunting with dogs.
Unprompted, he said the Trail Hunting Ban will be in the King’s speech this autumn with the debate shortly afterwards.
It had better be true otherwise he will have another visit from me.
Its not true my MP a Tory has informed me.
