Agree Sam but I wrote re the article of which the subject is care of hounds. One of the departments I contacted was canine and another was the board to draw attention to the dangers of mis-management of care of hounds.
I have sent a request for comment to several departments of the BVA (British Veterinary Association), copied to PTW and my MP.
Requests sent 8th May! As yet (16th May) absolutely no response from anyone!
Perhaps a few more requests would help? At least to add pressure by awareness. All addresses available on the BVA website. Copy of my email to 3 departments & my MP as follows:

Investing in vets directly affects the health and welfare of the animals they care for – and protecting the wellbeing of our animal population is good for the animals, good for the planet, and good for the people who live on it.'
The article suggests that your aim is not being upheld within hunt kennels including perhaps some veterinarians, which poses a high risk for all the above!
This should be put in a nationl paper we all know what goes on behind the scenes but mojority of the public dont its that well hidden scum everyone of them if it was a person doing this to a pet dog ther would be uproar so why let these retchid scum get away with it Rob straight to a national rag and expose them for what they are
It’s no surprise at all that the BVA are in favour of hunting due to the conflict of interest that exists. Many veterinary practices and in particular rural ones rely on farmers and stables for much of their trade and move in the same social circles. Shame on them all.
They have no empathy for any animal. The whole lot of them are evil and get off on causing suffering to a defenceless animal. It gives them power and feeds their sick minds. Only a few weeks ago some sick individuals hung dead fox cubs on a road sign near Jamaica inn !! I understand Jamaica Inn will not entertain the hunt. Good on them !!
