So you may have seen in recent weeks we launched a petition calling on the Labour Govt to push through their promised ban on snares. And today we released a powerful new film exposing these deadly devices and how they shockingly remain legal in England despite already being banned in Scotland and Wales.
You can watch the 30 second film by clicking the play button on the video below :)
Want to help spread the word? Why not forward this email on to a friend :) Or you can drop us a follow over on Instagram and share the film to your story too! Let’s get this film shared as far and wide as possible and help ban snares for good!
Enjoyed this animation?
Our films are created in collaboration with the incredible team at Fire Lily Studio, and each one takes a huge amount of time, skill, and care to produce. If you'd like to see more powerful animations like this — reaching wider audiences and pushing for real legislative change to protect British wildlife — please consider supporting our work with a donation.
We’re proudly funded by people like you. We receive no government support and no backing from big donors — and that independence means we can always speak the truth, unapologetically and without compromise.
Alternatively you can also support our anniversary book project - celebrating a decade of protecting British wildlife!
A 90-page photo-led book documenting protest, progress, and the people protecting wildlife as we celebrate our 10 year anniversary.
We’ve got less than two weeks to reach our 10k target to make this book a reality and get it in your hands! Please do consider supporting this project and pledging a donation to secure yourself a copy :)
Thank you
Rob
I have already signed the petition and I have also sent an email to my MP via the league against cruel sports to kindly but very strongly ask him to sign the early day motion for supporting a ban on horrid snares (you can check whether your MP has signed it here: https://edm.parliament.uk/early-day-motion/63065) ✊! Snares are abhorrently cruel, completely uneccessary and indiscriminate killers! Wales have banned them and Scotland now have too, it is high time for England to do so now as well!!
