We've launched a new tool to end hunting for good.
We need a real hunting ban — not a broken law with loopholes that hunts gleefully exploit — and we need it now.
Hunts continue to terrorise wildlife and pets, endanger people, and trample the law with impunity. Despite the Hunting Act 2004 being in place for over 20 years, it is not fit for purpose when it comes to protecting British wildlife, companion animals, or local communities. It is a law riddled with loopholes that hunts exploit to continue their sick pursuits.
That’s why Protect the Wild launched the Proper Ban on Hunting Petition — and over 175,000 people have already signed, demanding urgent reform. This mobilisation of public pressure, combined with the tireless efforts of monitors and saboteurs who’ve risked so much to gather evidence, has had a real impact: Labour has now pledged to ban trail hunting and strengthen the Hunting Act. That promise didn’t come out of nowhere — it was won through persistence, sacrifice, and solidarity. Your voices forced this issue onto the political agenda — and together, we’ve made change inevitable.
So what’s the problem?
The Labour Government has promised action but promises alone don’t protect the public or wildlife. Ministers have said they will consult on changes, but they have not committed to a parliamentary schedule. There is still no clarity on when change will happen.
Yet every week that passes, foxes and other animals continue to be killed under the smokescreen of so-called “trail hunting.” Hounds are exploited, injured, and discarded like tools. Rural communities are left to deal with trespass, intimidation, and chaos — while hunt saboteurs and monitors face violence simply for standing up to it. It’s all happening in plain sight, and it’s all documented on our new site, HuntHavoc.info — exposing the lawless reality in which hunts continue to operate.
We can’t afford to wait any longer. We must pressure the Government to act now and stop hunt havoc and end hunting once and for all.
That’s why we’ve launched a new tool — a letter-sending platform that empowers you to contact your MP in just a few clicks. It’s simple, powerful, and takes less than two minutes. You enter your postcode, are provided with a pre-written letter, and you send it straight to your MP. To make it even easer, we’ve integrated this new MP Petition into the Hunt Havoc site — so anyone can see what’s happening in their area, and immediately contact their MP about it. It’s direct, targeted, and strategic.
If MPs across the country are flooded with messages demanding a full ban now, they will have to listen. Every message builds pressure. Every letter is a voice for the animals and communities whose suffering at the hands of hunts has been ignored for far too long.

This is just the beginning.
In the months ahead, this MP petition tool will be at the heart of our anti-hunting campaign. We’re calling on tens of thousands of people across the UK — from every constituency, from every political background — to speak up for those who suffer at the hands of hunts: from wildlife and hounds to rural communities and frontline activists. Let Parliament hear it loud and clear: We are watching. We are demanding change now. We are not going anywhere.
This isn’t about if hunting will be banned properly — it’s about when.
Use the tool. Make your voice heard.
Tell your MP, tell the Labour Government: The time for change is now.
