Empowering people to protect British wildlife.

Protect the Wild’s mission is to empower people to protect British wildlife by using multimedia to campaign on key issues, inform our supporters and the public about wildlife matters, and support activists taking direct action in the field.

As well as our sicial media reach, we have split our output onto two platforms: our website (protectthewild.org,uk), where you can find our campaigns, our information on recognising and recording wildlife crime and wildlife persecution, our animations and videos, and a link to our shop. We use our Substack for our near-daily News and Opinion pieces, reports on our Equipment Fund, and blogs by The Secret Monitor (stories from inside hunts, shoots, and the badger cull).

Protect the Wild has come to Substack to create a community and inspire debate, to give a voice to any person in the field protecting the wild, and to build on the work we cover on our website. Our team of writers produce current news, analysis, and opinion with the aim of driving issues into the mainstream and advocating for a world where people and wildlife co-exist.
