The Lib Dem’s have a very good chance of removing the awful Rees-Mogg and other local pro hunt local Tory MP’s here in Somerset. I think their stance is broadly anti-hunt but I’ve not received a reply from Sarah Dyke (Somerton and Frome) when I asked her if she would support legislation to strengthen the Hunting Act. I will be following up !
What an amazing feat! So very well done to everyone involved! Not only bad publicity for The Newt but also a great campaign against the exceptionally evil Blackmore and Sparkford Vale Hunt! If locals didn't know before, they do now! Will find a small extra donation to help this month (wish I could all the time!)

Surely the owner's of "The Newt" are losing business if i was in there position and i lost any business of any sort or any amount because of the person i had as manager of the said business then the manager would become very quickly the Ex Manager!!
But it really doesn’t matter ! The way things are there won’t be any foxes to hunt ! The greedy trigger happy muppets with the high power rifles and the thermal technology are out in force! Go on YouTube and check team foxer out this week killing all the cubs ! The hunts will be lucky to find any foxes because they’ll already be dead ! People need to wake up and change tactics if you want to help the fox population. The fox population in England is at an all time low all because of shooting and they’re doomed in rural areas if we don’t do something. They’re using weapons designed to win wars to persecute the foxes it really is disgusting !

I have stayed at The Newt, I find it quite incredible that they allow/host Fox hunting on their land.
Their whole ethos is put across as nature friendly. Perhaps it’s just a smoke screen.
For the freedom of the chickens where they walk freely amongst the gardens?
I would have to ask the question to them before I ever consider to re-book there WHY, WHY?
People take it in and act after your great awareness campaign by walking away from their business & that will hurt them.
