As people who live in an area with 3 fox hunts, at least one hare coursing pack and frequent visits from nearby stag hunts, we are desperate for help. Every season is a nightmare we dread. Half of every year is blighted by hunting. If anyone out there thinks living in the countryside is a delight - it is, but only outside of the hunting season. The rest of the time it's a slaughter-fest. If you want to move to a rural area PLEASE ask your estate agent if there's hunting in the area - they won't tell you otherwise, and you could end up living in a hellish situation for half the year, every year. We're not budging, but it's sometimes a struggle to cope with the anger, the fact that our MP Geoffrey Cox loves hunting, and the fact that the police do absolutely nothing to help us. All our local councils, from Parish to County, are infested with hunters. More than 9 million Brits live in rural areas and we have been completely let down by government and the police. We deserve better than this. So go for it Chris Packham, you are our hero!

As I have mentioned before in previous articles, I am NO fan of Chris Packham, but abhorrent hunting (AKA sham trail hunting) needs to be properly banned once and for all right now!!! To see the sheer ton of lies that the sick hunts are coming up with currently, please see this article here: https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/article/2024/aug/12/pro-foxhunting-group-says-uk-hunters-protected-ethnic-minority . I have sent/been sending an email to my new labour MP once EVERY 2 weeks for the last, almost, 2 months about this now and other matters (e.g. snares, the badger "cull" etc) but I have not once received a reply back from him so far. I personally think almost 2 months to settle in and start up office is enough time to start doing something!!!
