This is very worrying and upsetting news. I had really hoped that when Scotland "banned hunting with more than 2 dogs" (mind you, that is probably a loophole in itself as "hunting with ANY dogs" should have been the words used instead of allowing even 2 dogs), that that would have truly been the end of barbaric hunting in Scotland, where the foxes, deers, rabbits etc were all safer and all those sick hunts had packed up for good πŸ˜ΏπŸ’”πŸ€¬πŸ€¬!! All those loopholes in Scotland's act as well as England's and Wale's act, including sham trail hunting, need to be properly closed once and for all and strongly enforced until ALL those barbaric hunts have folded for good!! RIP that poor fox who was barbarically shot and murdered by those sadistic monsters πŸ¦Šβ€οΈπŸ˜ΏπŸ’”. Once again and as always though, "My hats off" to the brilliant sabs everywhere for all that you have done and are doing πŸ‘!!

Not the first article I've read about corruption in Scottish government concerning wildlife and nature. I can't remember now but I think it was over protecting lynx or wildcats about 5 years ago. If it's anything like Wales their councils and government departments are full of unionists who bully the life out of anyone employed there who tries to be a decent person and do things by moral guidance. Believe me I know because it happened to me. Then they complain because they have to spend ridiculous sums of tax payer money on agency staff and covering staff sickness.

This saddens and angers me, will we ever win when this cruelty is perpetrated by a monied minority. These people believe that the countryside and all it contains is there for the use of the privileged few. They seem to have the backing, not only of the Tory party-but Labour too. Is there any integrity in politics?

Sadly, I really don't think there is Angela Mortimer. Hence the reason why the words "never go into politics" is used.

Any "HUMAN" who hunts and kills "WILD ANIMALS" are "SICK IN THE HEAD PERVERTS" and should be kept miles away from "CHILDREN", these "SCUM OF THE EARTH" "POINTLESS HUMAN (SUB) BEINGS", should be "PUT DOWN" by "HANGING" and a "FOX" trained to pull the "LEVER", then all "WILD ANIMAL LOVERS" if they wish, can sit and watch the "BASTARDS SQUIRM",, (sick I know, but not as sick as killing/murder of our "PEOPLES" "WILDLIFE", "ALSO" it seems the "LABOUR PARTY" are going to "RENEGE" on there "WILDLIFE PROMISE",I wish you could see the "email" I sent to the labour party and I will send more "THE SCUM".

This is very sad and disappointing news. I thought the wording under the licensing regime was intended to make it extremely difficult to obtain one. Is it the case then that those responsible for issuing licences are paying lip service to the law? Can PTW obtain details of the licence applications and approvals under a Freedom of Information request to assess them?

This is so typical of our governments. Pulling the wool over our eyes by producing new legislation and then leaving gaping holes in it for landowners to exploit. What is wrong with these people who allow such instances of corruption?
