Bless Brian May (one of the only celebrities I have the most complete and up most respect and admiration for) and good on everyone involved with helping to make this film possible 👍👏❤️!! Thank you all 💖!! Bovine TB is NOT "caused" by innocent badgers, it is caused by the atrocious and disgusting squalid factory farming conditions the poor cows are forced to endure existing in and the way they are freely bought, sold and moved all around the country like mere items. THAT is how bovine TB is spread!!! Isn't it also a "funny" coincidence how if humans get TB, they get antibiotics and treatment for it but when sweet cows and alpacas like Geronimo "supposedly get it" (NOT in Geronimo's case!!), the ONLY answer they are given is an execution order, even for cows and camelids living in sanctuaries 😾😡🤬🤬🤬!!! Humans aren't handed a mandatory death sentence for contracting it, why should it be any different for cows and camelids, even if the owner WANTED to pay for their treatment, but the government wouldn't have it 🤬🤬🤬!!!!! Sadly, I don't know whether I will be able to watch the film myself as if it features poor dead badgers or badgers being murdered, I just can't bear seeing that with any animal 😿😿💔💔. I just don't know how the brave sabs and undercover investigators for animals do it. They are far stronger and braver than me. I sincerely hope that Labour MP's and members watch this though and more importantly, ACT on it the right way by ending this completely uneccessary, totally barbarically and undeniably flawed "cull" right NOW, not in 3/4 years time 😾😡🤬🤬!!!

Please don’t doubt your strength and bravery, Cara. You are here, and that is strength and bravery because it pains you and yet you still don’t look away like most of society and pretend it isn’t happening or that there isn’t anything they can do. You campaign against ugly and barbaric truths, when it breaks your heart to hear about them, because it’s the right thing to do.

And you have no idea how much it helps me to know others feel as passionately as I do, and are equally as heartbroken and angry as I am. I need to know that some people care. I wish I could join the sabs in the field, but I physically can’t. The next best thing I can do is to back those who can, and support those like Rob and Charlie who are fighting for change. It’s good to be standing with you, Cara! ✊

Thank you so much for the very kind words Helen 💖. I don't think I could say it any kinder back to you ❤️. I feel the EXACT same way as you Helen and thank you so much for standing with us Helen and for caring as much as you do too!! You and everyone else in this strong and amazing community are the proof that my family and I need that there are people out there who care as much as we do 👍👏💖!! I have thought a lot about joining my local sabs and I deeply want to help but, alongside family commitments that requires me to be at home a lot, I just don't think I would be able to handle it very well if I was out there but the sick hunters/shooters/cullers won (I honestly don't know how the sabs manage). So, I do what I can here the same as you Helen. Thank you 💖!!

I couldn't do what the Sabs do. I wouldn't be able to control my temper and would have to take a crowbar with me. It would take too much willpower to refrain using violence on them, or even killing one of them.

Bless you Larraine Cruse 💖!!

I feel the same. Thank you for your kind words too, Cara. You are a really beautiful person. ♥️

With all my heart I want to join the sabs. I almost did when I was younger, but a sab told me it nearly always got violent back then and refused to take me out with him (before the times of iPhones which I believe give a huge amount of protection). All that anger and entitlement terrifies me. When I have politely and verbally spoken to hunters and asked them questions, wow, the hostility and vitriol that is immediately returned is frankly astounding. Let alone their blinkered justifications. So imagine what that anger and madness is like when they are charging on horseback, baying for blood. There will never be reasoning with people like that. They lack compassion, empathy, tolerance for anyone else’s point of view and are the absolute worst of humanity. I have got the hugest respect and awe for sabs going out there, but am just not cut out to stand in the field with mad idiots abusing horses, charging around me with such hate in their hearts. I also have the biggest respect to you for nurturing your family and instilling good and kind values into them, filling the next generation with empathy and kindness, to give the future world a chance.

Sometimes I wish I didn’t love animals this much, I wish I could not care this much, but the world needs people like us Cara, as we are the only people willing to try to help stop animal abuse and suffering. I am so grateful to Protect the Wild for giving us something solid to stand with and support.

You are most welcome and thank you so so much again for your very kind words Helen 💖! I couldn't agree with you more!! You are also a very beautiful and kind person and to whom I also have the most complete and up most respect for too!! Please don't ever change 👍👏💖!! To be honest, that doesn't surprise me in the slightest about those evil and barbaric hunters but bless you and good on you for standing up to them Helen 👍✊💖!! I saw this yesterday and the ton of sheer lies that they were spouting makes my blood boil 🤬🤬🤬: https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/article/2024/aug/12/pro-foxhunting-group-says-uk-hunters-protected-ethnic-minority . There is one simple saving grace though in what they were spouting, where they have shot themselves in the foot yet again, as we all know, they have admitted once again to INTENTIONALLY hunting an animal and not following a supposed trail as they claim in other articles to be doing!! The words: "In the video, Swales said: “We see it as a really important part of wildlife management … We’re actually doing people a service. We’re picking up the foxes or the hares or the deer or the rabbits that are either old, they’ve got no teeth, they can die of starvation, or they’ve got the disease, or they’re just not adapted to outperforming a dog in that chase. So we’re happy with that natural selectivity.” We all know this but what that (swearword) "Swales" said, is ADMITTING to fox hunting with dogs which was SUPPOSED to have already been banned back in 2004, showing, as we all know, that they are deliberately BREAKING THE LAW and far, far tougher measures are needed (I would go even further!!)!! That "Swales" is defending hunting animals, NOT defending sham trail hunting of following a (non existent) trail as they are supposed to be doing!! There are days when I also wish I didn't love animals as much as you and I do too, but you are completely correct Helen that the world needs far more people like you and I, not less. Protect the Wild is a truly amazing organisation, connecting all of us who are kind and do care together and making a difference for the wild animals of the UK!! Long live and stand the brave sabs and Protect the Wild ✊!! Thank you for being you Helen 👍👏💖!!

Thank you for being you too, Cara.♥️🥰

Thank you for the link to that article; they all make me sick. That article should be used as evidence in a prosecution against them!!! They are out of their minds, claiming that they are an ethnic minority!!!! They probably got that rubbish from an old drunk lawyer at their local pub.

Loved how former Labour minister Mike Foster responded to their ridiculous claim that they were an ethnic minority and wrote on X: “‘Show me an example of people who have lost the plot,’ the hunt lobby never fail to disappoint.”

Don’t worry, I won’t ever change the way I feel about animals, fox hunting and saving wildlife. I couldn’t if I tried. There has never been a single act of animal cruelty that I have heard of that has ever been justifiable or acceptable, especially lab testing (but let’s not go there!). 🤬🤯

I totally agree with you, I am grateful to Protect The Wild for connecting kind people together too, and making a difference to wildlife too.

Everyone are wonderful who are here. 🫶

Oh how right you are Cara. I've always wanted to win the Lottery so I can go underground with a large cache of weapons like high power rifles with telescopic sights and pick off all the human barbarians day by day, in the cunning manner in which the Vietcong used to pick off US troops invading their land.

The "FUCKING HUMAN RACE" again, the answer, to "KILL KILL AND KILL AGAIN" the innocent "BADGERS" and other "WILDLIFE" "KILLING FOR FUN (sick) "BLOODSPORT), it breaks my heart as an 85years old man and brings me to tears, to "KILL" "MURDER" "DESECRATE" "ANNIHILATE" our (PEOPLES) most "BEAUTIFUL" "AMAZING" "BADGERS" and all other "WILD ANIMALS", the people who make these decisions, are, I assume, "EDUCATED" but have the "COMMON SENSE OF A FLEA", (no disrespect to the flea) "WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH YOU DECISION MAKERS", "LEAVE OUR BADGERS AND ALL OTHER WILDLIFE ALONE, as, "NATURE INTENDED", for fucks sake.

I also should say thank you to "BRIAN MAY" he is a "DIAMOND" and any other "CELEBRITY" who has the "GUTS" to come out against this "DISGUSTING PROBLEM" and say "THANK YOU"

How bizarre and heartbreaking that it took a celebrity (albeit a hugely respected, intelligent musician with a PhD) to be the person to help investigate and front a documentary to spell out to the government that badger culling does not work and is ineffective.

Whilst the Countryside Alliance and the NFU’s Tom Bradshaw continue with their usual bullying tactics of histrionics and shouting the loudest, it is all the more evident that they are unwilling (or indeed incapable) of listening to nuanced and intelligent scientifically-proved arguments that demolish their ridiculous and absurd assumptions that badger culling is the answer to Bovine TB.

If they back down and agree that killing thousands of badgers is pointless and ineffective, that means they are going to have to admit their own shortcomings and failures in the way they farm animals and their own unhygienic animal husbandry methods. They will never admit culpability or responsibility. They would rather kill and maim innocent animals than put the effort in to truly understand the truth.

I can see no “honour” whatsoever with the Labour government insisting they “honour the existing licenses” issued by Natural England in May 2024. Instead I see inertia and the inability to do the right thing in the face of scientifically backed evidence that tells them that badger culling is not the answer. With this new evidence now in the public domain, the Labour government must act now to immediately stop the sadistic and unnecessary murdering of protected and innocent badgers.

I feel physically sick thinking about those poor unknowing innocent animals being barbarically killed for no good reason! It just has to stop now, it's wrong and DEFRA know it....shame on all those involved in these killings.....who do they think they are to do this to our wonderful wildlife. There should be a cull on certain humans that'll sort it! That'll sort everything...sorry I'm just so angry as you all are.

If your country is being invaded by hostile forces and with no regards to the lives of the innocent, you should have the right to use in the parlance of your average US politician cum soldier "use deadly force" to rid yourself of the vermin that have invaded.

*I wish to say at this point that I am by no means comparing my opinions with the war in Ukraine as there are a number of other issues there.

As I wrote in a contribution some time ago in some publication somewhere, (sorry I can't be more specific), my wife and I holidaying in the Lake District, couldn't stay with a friend in her cottage as it was full of other friends. She got us a B&B room in a nearby dairy farm (ugh!)

What was so enlightening was the sight each day of the herd brought in, and later taken out for milking.

The cows, bless them were up to their udders in mud and of course SHIT, their own shit.

As a dog lover I was disgusted that the poor farmers dog, a Border Collie was equally covered in it, and didn't seem happy about it, occasionally trying to lick himself clean.

It was all I could do not to berate the couple, the farmer of which didn't like me from the start having found out I was a Vegan!

What's the betting that cow poo, and wee aren't linked to the disease and not the poor badgers.

Incidentally, another good reason to go Vegan!
