While writing, can I give a big shout out to Somerset Sabs, who have this week become an affiliated HSA group. They’ve done great work since forming a year or two ago and have been a real thorn in the side of the Weston & Banwell Harriers this season. If you feel inclined do visit their FB page or better still throw them a few quid by buying them a Kofi 😊
I really wish that I could take that war mongering idiot, Tony Bliar , who deliberately sabotaged the Hunting act and substitute him for the next fox or deer - to be hunted to the point of exhaustion. Then cheer as he is ripped apart by dogs . Following that I would start using any available hunt member .
I used to live in a village where the hunt met. I remember them slowly and casually trotting down a single track lane in front of my car, aware of me but totally ignoring me , so that I was late picking up my daughter from nursery.
They had NO concern about anyone or anything. Rules were not for them. Their arrogance was so breathtaking ( plus the ignorance and brutishness of the forelock- tugging mouth breathers who follow and help them, but are also treated with utter contempt).
They feel entitled, and , sadly, it appears that they are. They’re entitled, but usually not the brightest example of humankind. Money and so called ‘class’ but not intelligence. What a shower of low life!
These assholes on horseback and quadbike ! Not only terrifying wildlife, the general public, but also their poor horses being made to canter on concrete which is devastating for their legs let alone the slipping aspect, the horses look exhausted and stressed. They really will not hold back with their blood lust. I can’t believe that in this day and age this is still going on with evil morons thinking they own the countryside. While on the subject of stag hunting, the Quantock were filmed trespassing on Forestry England land (where they are banned) on 11 March while pursuing a stag. Footage and the report can be found on the North Dorset hunt sabs page - I’ve written to Forestry England to ask them why this is allowed to happen and what they intend to do to stop these incursions. The more of us that write, the better !
Every time I read about the staghound packs I can feel my blood pressure go up. Especially as I live in Devon, somehow knowing this goes on so close by makes me feel sick. If I see a horsebox with a driver wearing a stupid green jacket they get the middle finger from me. These vile sub humans are hiding in plain sight pretending to be normal people going about their lives with their filthy perverted secrets.
I tried to report something to the Somerset and Avon police before but the form asked so many very specific questions like where were you when the crime took place, what time did it happen etc that it makes if difficult to know what to say.
I would be happy to make a complaint if I thought it would help?
The only way is to name them. Inter breds are not safe. Our Royals love to kill. Who would want to shoot or murder an innocent??? Think about it, ?? It's not safe for us either. Best be careful. Fight fire with fire. Oh yes....
