Just reported "fox killer baits" to Google. It's disgusting, whether it's a scam, or not.

Whatever way you look at it, this is illegal. Either theyre extremely cruel bastards, wanting innocent foxes dead, or trying to extort money for some reason. They need finding and stopping. Or preferably feeding their own poison.

This is scandalous! Great action taken by PTW. Quite frankly though, anyone purchasing this with a plan to poison foxes or any other form of wildlife deserves to lose their money - and their freedom for a while! I intend to add to Googles's workload!

It’s sometimes difficult to accept and believe that these deprived individuals are actually the same species as me!!!!!!

We are doomed…… Long Live The Fox 🦊

If it’s illegal then why are these morons getting away with using it ??

Why is this poison even being made it’s dangerous for animals and people, It’s evil to kill foxes using this or any poison nature tends to look after its own. This poison has to be banned

Back along they were advertising Hedghog killer...extremely sick . Lets hope its a bag of crushed cornflakes if anyone is stupid and vile enough to buy it.

I remember the hedgehog killer being highlighted by Hugh Warwick on Twitter. Their website comments section was duly bombarded with unpleasantness 😆

I suspect this product is perfectly legal because purchasers will receive a bag of harmless wheat (...reminds me of sea monkeys and x-ray specs). You could argue that at least the "right" people are being scammed. Serves them right.

I want to say "I can't believe.....", but that is so redundant the last few years. Someone who takes pleasure in killing a hedgehog is seriously demented and should immediately be locked up - that person is extremely mentally ill. But then anyone who gets their rocks off killing foxes, deer (any animal) there must be a couple of screws loose.

I've completed Google's form- what a faff! It would be good to think that any action might be taken but I doubt it. Would there be any benefit in reporting this to the UK advertising authorities?

Hi Angela. I did think about that, but the ASA typically deal with adverts here in the UK - they do work with other jurisdictions but while the £ sign indicates it's targetting UK customers it's very difficult (for non-experts like me anyway) to work out where the person/people who are behind the advert are actually registered. It's why we thought that perhaps the most effective way to stop them would be to contact Google and see if they would take the advert down as it does breach their guidelines on eg Dangerous Products and Legal Requirements (to quote "You’re always responsible for ensuring that you comply with all applicable laws and regulations, in addition to Google's advertising policies, for all of the locations where your ads are showing") and the advert would be almost invisible if it was not on Google.

I think they have been by the TripAdvisor reviews. Serves them right as they were all up for using it. May be its a animal lover selling it and getting even with these murders...only a thought.

Lets hope so. They deserve what they get. Pity it's not loads of money.

I actually really hope that it is a scam - and that subhumans trying to buy it get ripped off for hundreds of £'s.

You might think that there would be a Government department which would have oversight of matters such as this which are potentially affecting UK residents and wildlife. There's Deathra, HSE(CRD), NE and APHA to name just a few. In reality, I doubt that this product actually exists - at least in the form described. As has already been said, anyone falling for this deserves to be taken for a ride.
