Some people seem oblivious to the suffering of non-human animals and refuse to see it when evidence is thrust under their noses. Sometimes I envy them their obtuse disregard because awareness of what insensitive barbarians are capable of in the way of inflicting pain & suffering to living creatures causes deep distress and sadness.

But envy doesn't last for long, because that awareness means action and progress to outlawing cruelty, however slow and laborious the process is.

Glue traps to go by the end of next month and if the whining pest controllers can't come up with better ideas they deserve to be stuck naked to human-sized glue boards until they shut up about it.

No-one should be permitted (or licensed) to use these evil 'traps'! They should not even be manufactured for pest control to use them in the first place! How cruel can you get! Typical 'UNatural England' of course!

It was about 10 years ago that my son phoned me and he was sobbing to the extent that I couldn't understand a word he said. At that point he was in his 30s and while a sensible and mature character he definitely is kind man and will help anyone or anything to the best of his ability. He gathered himself and explained that he was in a London cinema and heard a squeak/squeak from under his seat - he used his phone torch and found 2 mice stuck to one of these vile pads. They had been trying to free themselves and their injuries were truly horrific - he photographed them to get a 'second opinion' from me - their injuries were non-survivable so he did the only humane thing he could think of in that moment and he stamped on them to end their suffering quickly. It was so awful for him that he threw up. He took the poor little souls to the cinema manager and gave them his opinion of it and the cinema management and then took them to the nearest RSPCA - explaining what he had done. They agreed that his action had been humane and conteacted the cinema too. At that point there was no legal recourse. My son has spoken to me about it since - said it haunts him. I'm fortunate in that I've never seen one - they can't be banned soon enough. And what sort of mind ever dreamed them up? I can only think that it was a sadist.

Totally agree with a ban on these glue traps, whatever your feelings against rats and mice, they are a "CREATION OF NATURE", as all animals are, like the "BEARS IN FLORIDA" where that "ARSHOLE" "DESANTIS" has signed for them to be allowed to be "KILLED/MURDERED" "SLAUGHTERED", another (SUB) "HUMAN BEING", "WHAT THE FUCK" they are only bears, someone should stick a shotgun up his arse and blow his brains out, "WELL" that's where his brains are, the bastard, it makes me "RAGE WITH ANGER" the way humans "TREAT OUR WILDLIFE", like the "SICK" "DEPRAVED" "EVIL" "BLOODSPORTERS" in the u k, oh I forgot to say, "THE NATION OF ANIMAL LOVERS", like our "BEAUTIFUL" "BADGERS", "FUCK THE SICK HUMAN RACE", we should be "WIPED OUT", "VERY VERY ANGRY NATURE/WILDLIFE LOVER", "WHAT WILL BE LEFT OF THEM"

Licenced or not, bloody cruel evil things. I heard a stupid neighbour near me put one of the sticky fly traps outdoors, you guessed it, it trapped a poor little Robin. Silly cow ! A horrible death.

We did that too when we had two get in the house. Took them to a local huge park.

WE ONLY USE HUMANE TRAPS TO REMOVE THE MICE FROM OUR GARAGE. THEN TAKE THE MICE TO A WOODED AREA AND RELEASE THEM. GLUE/SNAP TRAPS ARE INHUMANE AND ARE READILLY AVAILABLE IN SHOPS. UNFORTUNATELY THEY ARE CHEAPER COMPARED TO HUMANE TRAPS, AND PEOPLE DONT CARE WHAT THEY KILL WETHER ITS A RODENT OR NON RODENT

NO ONE LEGAL OR OTHERWISE should be able to use glue traps. They are so cruel and catch other creatures they are not meant for. They cause a long and painful death unnecessarily when there are other kinder methods for vermin.
