Great post. 👏 This gives me some hope; it’s still baby steps by the police, but it’s steps in the right direction. If enough people record and report hunts and the havoc, damage and danger they cause, then the police will have no choice but to take action. Bigger and tougher penalties do need to be imposed to act as a prevention; one thing this lot aren’t lacking in is money, so small fines aren’t going to worry them.

If packs of out-of-control hunting dogs were running loose around cities they would be shot, and their owners prosecuted. The hunt think they are above the law.

This kind of anti-social and reckless activity being documented is exactly what the Labour government needs to see right now.

With the incredible job you do supplying sabs with drones and cameras, more and more proof is being garnered to bring a solid argument why irresponsible hunts should be permanently banned.

So very true Helen!

Why only a Community Resolution? Surely if the hunt were following a pre laid trail they would be following the trail, not running all over the place out of control. It must be obvious to the police the hunt was hunting a live mammal, or am I missing something?

Very good point Roger!!

Its a case of bloodsports being put first before public safety. This is why the governments tightening of the hunting and fox hunting law must be absolutely sound and watertight and without errors. The terrorist organisation Countryside Alliance and lawyers will be scrutinizing every last word and dots for loopholes to exploit.

THESE THUGS HAVE NO CONTROL, IT'S A DISGRACE TO ALL OF THE LAW ABIDING PEOPLE TO KEEP THEIR DOGS UNDER CONTROL WE ARE TALKING PROBABLY 35 DOGS RUNNING AROUND CAUSING DANGER TO OTHER ANIMALS AND PEOPLE. THIS IS WHY WE NEED A PROPER BAN NOW.

It's taken a very LOOOOONG time for the police to act but I hope that now they've taken a first few steps they might be rather more active. There are laws and there are penalties but these are not enforced - penalties of £50 or £100 are meaningless - £5000 or £10000 might be more of a deterrent and at the same time prison terms of 2 - 10 years might increase the deterrent. The Hunt have been truly terrible in their damage to wildlife and at the same time they clearly totally disregard any sort of care for their hounds. The damage to the Great British public in terms of personal injury and property damage is almost a 'good thing' because it prompts people to lodge complaints which cannot be ignored by the police. But it shows these Hunters and their associates are truly SCUM.

Protect the Wild are AMAZING - I am so proud of being a supporter although my level of support is tiny as I am live only on my state pension so I just cannot afford more. But I am a keyboard warrior every day!

This is good news 👍!! Although, still too small a step, it is nevertheless still a step in the right direction!! Please keep up the fantastic work you are doing brave sabs and Protect the Wild 👍👏✊❤️💖💖!! The sick hunts don't give a toss about their poor hounds or horses, wildlife or even the public at all as things like this shows and helps prove 🤬🤬🤬!!

I would like to share something I've recently learned: animal cruelty, in all its forms from organised hunts, to fireworks, to maltreatment of a pet can be regarded as religious hate. Which is the only form of hate acceptable to society. As well as animal cruelty, it manifests itself in unprovoked attacks on individuals and vitriol towards white people (not to mention widespread child abuse within the church). In courts, it's seems to be one of those taboo subjects that the defence tries to communicate without saying directly. And it's the reason these crimes are treated with impunity and, if they are convicted, appeals are often successful.

I'm not afraid to say it, it's clear that the western God is indeed a God of hate and western religions are hateful and every single second of footage that shows fox hunting is proof of this.
