We shouldn’t underestimate the importance of this. Very well done NLHS and I think North Dorset sabs were there too. Another step forward in bringing the abhorrent pastime of hunting with hounds to an end.

That is good news!! Good on the MP for Poole, Neil Duncan-Jordan for helping organise this and all the brave and kind hunt sabs 👍👏✊❤️💖💖!! Now we need either a ban or a bill to be brought in to properly phase out (so all the hounds have enough time to be properly rehomed and not murdered by the sick hunts) and ban so called "trail hunting" for good once and for all from Labour NOW!! I am curious though, what about so called "clean boot hunting"?: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ckgnv50r9mvo

This is fantastic news….when my MP emailed me back about this issue she attached a letter that she had been sent saying that the Labour Government are committed to banning trail hunting and that the necessary work is going on behind the scenes to put this into effect.

Hopefully now this meeting of sabs and MPs has taken place it will hurry things along….

It’s taken so many years for parliament and any government to finally start listening to sabs. That’s progress for sure. Still too little, still too late, but if it works towards ending this barbaric practice then it is indeed good news.

So thankful and grateful to Rob and everyone here at Protect The Wild, to Neil Duncan-Jordan, the MP’s who support a full ban but mostly to every single brave sab over the last 50 years who have risked their lived, risked being either physically or emotionally attacked and injured, to defend and protect wildlife.

IS IT A SMOKE SCREEN BY GOVERNMENT TO PRETEND TO BE DOING SOMETHING BUT ACTUALLY DOING NOTHING? WHY WONT THEY DO SOMETHING AS QUICKLY AS THEY DID SCRAPPING THE RWANDA SCHEME.

Totally agree. Far too much faffying and fannying about but nothing actually being one. Actually enforing the law and handing out some decent sentances/fines would be a starting point. Excellent that the meeting took place at all but actions speak louder than words.

Why are successive governments and the judiciary unable to implement the laws of this country? No wonder we are in such a mess!

My heart fluttered upon first reading this 💓 being a sab back in the late 80's early 90's ,and subsequently following online ever since it was exciting.. alas..coming back down 🥴 yes..I'll believe it when I see it..this government is the worst one yet! But..I STILL remain hopeful 🙏 Well done all you beautiful Sabs 😍 🦊 💯💪♥️♥️♥️
