I worked for a Labour MP when the 2004 act was passed. He was a staunch supporter of the need for this legislation, as were the majority (approximately 4,000 as l recall) of his constituents who contacted him directly about this issue. 3 pro hunt supporters demanded to see him personally. They were unimpressed with his stance on this issue, even more so when he suggested that they should look for a more humane pastime

Well, where does Labour stand with this? All of these people say one thing and yet do nothing when they get into power. Can any of them be trusted on animal welfare issues?

And as for getting in touch with my MP!- he is a dinosaur and animal welfare is something he just doesn't agree with and wouldn't do anything to make their lives better in any way!

Are any MP'S interested in animal welfare who will see proper legislation through?
