If I had my way, the punishment for the horribly cruel developer and the incredibly stupid or corrupt judge would to be buried under an inconvenient amount of clay and have to struggle to get themselves out again. Well done to the Irish Wildlife Trust for refusing blood money. I hope all the charities do, in which case the badger killer would be in breach of his ridiculous sentence. Better still, let's hope that this case is referred to a Higher Court made up of competent judges who like to deter wildlife crime instead of encouraging it.
How amazing of the charities to refuse this "donation" when they are all desperately in need of cash, but not short of compassion. As an Irish person I am blue in the face emailing politicians about animal welfare issues in Ireland. We have an appallingly lax attitude towards acts of animal cruelty and routinely fail to punish the perpetrators, as in this case. We still allow the vile practice of fox hunting and beautiful raptors are shot out of the skies with no one held accountable. Horse racing and greyhound racing are supported by millions of euros of taxpayers money. The Irish hare, which has legal protection is subject to the persecution of hare coursing and the Irish government issues licences to coursing clubs effectively supporting this behaviour. Most of the Irish population want blood "sports" banned but our opinion has been ignored by successive governments.

Its obvious that "judge dunphy" is a "CORRUPT" lump of "SHIT", how he became a Judge, is beyond me, he must have a brain the size of a pea, to "ENTOMB" any animal is "SICK" "PERVERTED" "DISGUSTING" and the "DEVELOPER" needs "JAIL TIME" as he is a "SICK" "FILTHY" "SADIST" "SCUM", when I was working on a house (painting) years ago the owner asked me to block up a vent, even though a bird had young chicks in there, we argued, but I totally refused, I told him I would come back after the birds had flown and block it, I kept an eye on the vent and if he had blocked the birds inn I would have beat him, but they were o k , "SOME HUMANS ARE SCUM", "ANIMAL WILDLIFE LOVER"
