Am I right that pleading guilty usually results in a lighter sentence as well as witnesses not being called? That means no-one in court hears the sabs account. Nifty! No doubt lawyer's fees paid for by the hunt, or given freely with a funny handshake (they promise to help each other in time of need)! A prison term at last, but nowhere near fits the crime in my opinion!
18 months for nearly killing a KIND human ! Not good enough, this is disgusting and he'll be out in 6 months if he dont get out before then. Terrible system and corrupt !

What came to me while reading this horrendous story of all these Saboteurs being attacked , is that these 'hunters' know that the Saboteurs are wildlife (and some humans) carers. So the Saboteurs aren't going to fight back dirty, they aren't the ones that are going to trample, sucker punch, shoot these hunters, they just want them stopped, to get the world on their side. But these hunters have a large following, they also know that the "law" is on their side, they will get away with a slap on the wrist (at most). How can we fight dirty (and legally) back to get this stopped. Maybe we can hit them in the wallet, for starters.
well, it is Justice of a sort and better than nothing. I think all the Sabs are wonderful how they put up with so much assault. I could never do it because I would lose my temper. The sight of a fox or any animal being killed in front of me would put me right over the top. So congratulations you wonderful people.

All this crap about insufficient evidence etc etc is just a bloody cop out!! There's plenty of evidence with one person getting 2 busted ribs, how much bloody evidence do you need CPS?????? Oh and while we're on that subject, do 2 deaths not count for evidence either????FFS!!!!
