There is no excuse to kill Badgers who are innocent. Its so easy for Farmers to vaccinate their herd but of course it cost them money so many would rather kill the beautiful Badgers.

It costs more to finance the cull, which we as taxpayers pick up the bill.

Thats what I was saying that farmers would rather not pay to have their animals vaccinated!

Labour have broken their first manifesto pledge by allowing the cull to continue, at least in short term.

By breaking their manifesto pledge, they have signalled the Labour government can’t be trusted. If it’s in your manifesto, you have effectively lied. People voted for Labour on their manifesto pledges and now they’ve broken that trust.

MANIFESTOS MEAN NOTHING, ALL POLITICAL PARTIES SAY ONE THING AND DO THE OTHER. IF IT WAS A CONTRACT, THEN BY LAW THEY WOULD HAVE TO HONOUR IT , OTHERWISE THEY WOULD BE IN FRONT OF THE COURTS AND FACING A FINE.

Agreed, it’s not a legal contract and as you say politicians of all parties break their manifesto pledges all the time but I heard there were moves by the new Labour government to make manifesto pledges binding. At the time of me responding, I hear that the government have grown a conscience and now say the long term future of culling could change. It’s not much of a victory but it proves they are listening. Sadly, this doesn’t help those badgers who will be killed under existing licenses. Also they just started a new culling programme in Cumbria.

ON THE BBC TELETEXT SERVICE, (FRIDAY 30TH AUGUST 2024), LABOUR HAVE SAID THAT BADGER KILLING WILL END IN 5 YEARS TIME, AS THEY HOPE BADGERS WILL HAVE JABS TO STOP TB. UNFORTUNATELY, FARMERS HAVE SAID THAT CULLING CAN NEVER BE RULED OUT. SO YOU COULD END UP WITH WILDLIFE BEING KILLED ON PRIVATE LAND, AND NO ONE WOULD KNOW.

LABOUR SCRAPPED THE RWANDA SCHEME AS SOON AS THEY WERE IN PARLIAMENT, SO WHY CARRY ON KILLING BADGERS WITH THE LICENSES ALREADY ISSUED? THEY WANT TO CARRY ON THE KILLINGS AS THEY ARE CONTROLED BY THE ESTABLISHMENT WHO REALLY RUN THE COUNTRY.

The only way is to protest and get more people on our side, without rioting. Social media will have too play its part through people who are protesting!!😎🦡🦡🦡🦡🇬🇧🤍
