I can't believe it's 10 years! This government should be held accountable for its heinous crimes against wildlife. It's unbelievable that a species can be "protected" until a scapegoat is needed to appease farmers yet again who are responsible for this. Please do not post such distressing images with your emails, I go out of my way to avoid such images 😢

This makes for grimm reading and the pictures of those beautiful innocent badgers lying there has made me so mad. Badgers dont need to be culled its the 2 legged vermin in power that needs culling persecuting an animal to the brink that it can no longer sustain a happy family life as badgers are highly sociable. Not only has this goverment u turned on so many promises theyve lost the plot supporting these vile evil polycies. Leave our wildlife alone and sort your government out you pathetic ecuse for leadership 🤬🤬🤬

There is no rational defence for the continuation of such unforgivable brutality. If you continue to allow culling, you are only feeding this very disturbing blood lust trend. And we as a society are already seeing the devastation of that blood lust.

We have a badger come in our garden sometimes at night and we have caught him on the wildlife camera. Such an iconic animal and if anyone could hurt such a beauty, they are sick

We desperately need a government that cares more about animals. Not promises, but action

The slaughter of badgers is an outrage. The underlying reason for it is money. The dairy farmers want to make money from their cows, whose milk they steal and whose bodies they slaughter. For money.

Y'know, I'm not squeamish, and I fully understand the need to grab attention, but please don't send me emails with a header picture of a bunch of dead, disembowelled animals. FFS.

It is about time the Government listened to the people who elected them. The Badger cull is an outrage, filthy farms are to blame and hunting dogs who are fed on dead cows, possibly who are TB infected, also a Prime Minister, who has little respect for wildlife and hunts with his family. Sickening the lot of them!

I wish I could attend the Badger Cull Protest, but unfortunately poor health prevents me. I will donate instead. I am horrified reading this article; I knew that badger culling was still unnecessarily being carried out, but had no idea the numbers were so shockingly high. The ignorance of the Tory government is mind blowing. It is scientifically proven that badgers do NOT give TB to cows. Am astounded that this ignorant myth still remains, but of course the Tories aren’t interested in the truth. They have done nothing for wildlife in the last 13 years. Good luck with the protest, I will be with you in spirit.

I am throroughly against the badgers cull. Unfortunately I am abroad on the day of the demo. Would it be possible to organise a demo in every county or to repete it in London?
