It is great news to hear that another anti hunt person has replaced another pro hunt person in power!! I just sincerely hope that John Healey will continue to have compassion and ban hunting on MOD land ASAP. I also hope that now he is the New Defence Secretary for the MOD and we know that he is, or at least was, (time will tell) anti hunt, then I also hope that he is also anti fur too. The MOD still currently allows and purchases real black bear fur taken from bears killed in trophy like hunts in Canada to use for the "king's" guards caps even though a faux fur alternative has been created by PETA and ECOPEL and they have even offered to provide them FREE of taxpayer charge until 2030!! With any luck, now John Healey is in this position, I hope that he now might just do something about that too! We can hope at least.
I hope he does get the new law through Parliament. I have adopted a Fox and donated and signed various Petitions in the past and wholeheartedly support the wonderful SABS. I have akready emailed my new local MP about this.
