The cruelty involved in grouse moors breaks my heart. Hundreds of thousands of these poor birds are killed by cruel humans, but also killed are the natural predators who would kill these birds in order to survive but instead are trapped and killed. This is disgusting.
Thanks for commenting and understanding where we're coming from Lynn. As a serious birder with a passion for the wild I'm always amazed that people are taken in by the grouse shooting industry. It's a disgusting, bloody mess the whole year round. Horrible.
Tragic loss of life for nothing, again, by the rich and bloodthirsty. Britain’s claim to be a nation of animal lovers is ridiculous in the face of such perpetual cruelty along with horse and greyhound racing, badger culls and the catastrophic time bomb whose fuse has already been lit by intensive animal agriculture. Thank you for telling the truth.
