Giving permission, even for 'exercising' hounds on their land makes them culpable and equally responsible for 'accidents' (my foot!). The Estate should be prosecuted along with both hunts. Massive salute to the brave local person, you deserve a medal!

I cannot understand what these people get from ill treating animals, which includes the hounds. If they want to dress up why don't they do amateur dramatics, the could even do some good by raising money for Protect the Wild. They are a disgrace to the human race.

I just wish I had any hope that the government will keep it's promise to stop this terrible persecution of wildlife once and for all. Sadly I have no expectation that they will do any such thing. Their five "off the record" meetings with the farming community re the badger culling shows me the way the wind is blowing. We are going to continue to live in a country that permits the further decimation of our wildlife to take place with no consequence. Sorry to be so pessimistic but I just despair.

As a life long Labour Party supporter I totally agree with those sentiments expressed by others. I never have any faith in Keir Starmer and his behaviour as a PM has shown that belief to be justified.

He is a lickspittle of a man and cannot be relied upon to keep his words, even with the majority the Party enjoys.

Probably the kiss of death for him was the endorsement given to him last week by another useless article President "I know lots of words," Donald Trump.

I KEEEP SENDING THESE ARTICLES OFF TO MY MP, BUT DO NOT GET A REPLY. THEY WILL ONLY LOOK AT THE SHORT TERM, NOT THE LONG TERM AND WE END UP GOING NOWHERE.

I have said it before and will say again. The only way to deal with environmental and wildlife terrorists like fox and badger and stag hunters, is putting the fear of their own lives into their minds. A few well picked examples will make the rest of them wonder if they could be next.

One thing is for sure, you can't rely on the utterances of two faced politicians, or senior police officers who are probably in the same Freemasons lodge as some hunters.

I'm Convinced that People who Deliberatly go out with the Intention of Chasing Down and Murdering any Wild Animal, With or Without Dogs, must be some sort of 'SUB HUMAN BEING', these Cowardly Devients have a Lust for Blood and Enjoy Watching an Animal being Tortured, Screaming in Agony, as its being Ripped Apart....which the Majority of People in Our Country find Sickening !

The Problem is, as we all know, that Hunting goes right to the Top of the so called Wealthy Elite Powerful People in our Country, (some who are untouchable) whose legal teams of top Lawyers get them off by any means time and time again...

So...We need our 'King, The Top Man', to Publicly Insist on a Total Ban on any Hunting to Protect our Countryside....after all, isn't the 'King' always banging on about the Enviroment....of which Wild Animals are a key part of ?
