Absolutely appalling and totally unjust decision. Apart from the fact it favours the hunt, the decision also promotes the persecution and killing of wildlife.
Incidentally, if dog owners were to challenge the injustice by following suit (i.e. allowing their dogs to roam free) their precious dogs would be at risk of being attacked by the hunt hounds.

What about people’s pet dogs on that day . My friend has a beagle and there are one or two cross Foxhound crosses in the area. Will they be exempt too?

Being the animal lovers that we are, it would be something atrocious if on the same day Hells Angels decided to also do a parade with 30 Pittbulls that have been deprived of a fight for too long. Or if something was to be dropped on the road, that would make the hounds sick (definitely not die of course). Would the hounds be as keen to chase if they were high as kites on ...... mushroom cookies. Hmmmm just thinking out loud here. Or .. I'm having a brain fart right now, trying to remember what that drug is that makes you horny as hell. That could make the hounds very friendly :) OH I'm feeling devious, maybe it's a good thing I live in Canada. BUT It sounds like a lovely event I would like to travel to and witness one day.
