We all knew right from the start on the evidence of the governments.scientific officer and their own report that culling would not alleviate cattle infection. But they went ahead in spite of much public opposition. Badgers paid the price of government panic and desperation to apportion blame to satisfy farmers. They refused the evidence that cattle movements were to blame. W

I have already signed the petition and I fully support you Protect the Wild! Oh, It is so typical that that "Steve Reed" won't revoke the existing licences (even though they are all and have been called and proved, "ineffective" by Labour's own words and are literally all a waste of both valuable lives and money (also, isn't this country meant to be in a severe financial strap at the moment and Labour claims thar we can't fund/afford to do this, that or the other at the moment for what we actually NEED like the NHS??!!)), but they have been more than quick enough to IMMEDIATELY halt the Rwanda plan where a legal agreement had already been created and paid for between 2 countries???!!!! Again, because Rwanda was about humans, animals suddenly take a back seat!!!! If anything gets me so mad, it is that, human lives always being given precedent and being put before animals simply because of being born with two legs and no fur, and all the clear to prove excuses that they use that you know are just lies 😾😡🤬🤬🤬!!!!!!! I have sent an email (twice now) to my new labour MP about this but have not heard anything back yet. I know all the MP's are still settling in but I can't help but wonder whether he is answering emails from other constituents first and foremost when it is about human matters alone and ignoring mine at the moment solely because it is about animals???!! I will try sending the same email again in another 2 weeks. I hope I get a response then.

WE ALL KNOW TB IS SPREAD FROM CATTLE TO BADGERS, AND WHEN YOU START KILLING BADGERS, THEY MOVE ONTO ANOTHER AREA TO BE SAFE. PEOPLE JUST BLAME AND KILL CREATURES AS THEY CANNOT DEFEND THEMSELVES VERBALLY OR PHYSICALLY. PEOPLE ARE TO BLAME BY THEIR MISTAKES FOR THE SPREAD OF TB.

Cheers Cara....whenever I've clicked on links supplied by Protect the Wild, emailing DEFRA or government ,for example, particularly steve.reed.mp@parliament.uk

it's returned Postmaster Undeliverable...so many of my auto protests won't have got thro....just wondered if other people had experienced this....??

That is strange. I must confess, I personally haven't had this problem occur myself. Usually I have only ever had that happen to me (the email being returned undeliverable) if the email address was either slightly wrong or was no longer in use, neither of which is the case here for "Steve Reed's" email address above. Have you had this problem with any other email addresses besides from DEFRA or government departments at all?

Hi Cara....it happens on &off, various government bodies....just frustrating that "preloaded links" do not apparently have correct info so my petition signing efforts could sometimes be wasted...which would be heartbreaking to me.....I will keep my eye open for any further blunders and try to be more specific about the recipients email addresses,so I can report back with more detail ...are you part of Protect The Wild/Substack..???..should I always try and highlight these issues to you???.I did try to email Protect the Wild directly some time back just in case they were unaware but heard nothing more.....I just want all our petition efforts to work and get animal rights highlighted ....that's my goal!!!..cheers for your interest...x

You are most welcome Jane Mayes. I am not actually part of Protect the Wild or Substack, just a kind individual like you trying to help where I can. I myself did email Protect the Wild once but unfortunately didn't receive a reply back either. Besides from the email address no longer being in use, being faulty, there being possible glitches happening in the device being used to send the emails (if it is an older model) or the device not syncing with the email system properly, none of which sounds like they are happening here, I am afraid I can't currently think of anything else that could be the cause of this. I am sorry that I couldn't be of more help/assistance to you with your problem.
