Back in my day we had horns & some of us were pretty good at distracting the hunt, we had walkies but the range was pathetic & we had rook scarers. A group of us would arrive at 4am unblock the setts then string the scarers up, lite the cord & disappear to a safe distance & watch the hunts faces a few hrs later when all their underhanded work had been undone. Drones are an excellent weapon against these scum, as are mobile phones something again we didn't have in the eighties. The camera equipment back then was not only bulky but very expensive to replace after the hunt smashed it up & they would if they spotted you using it.
Why don’t the damn police do something about these scumbags, so sick of them getting away with it. I just hope the hunting of mammals act goes through so that hunting of all mammals stops, hope enough people sign the petition and this bludy government take notice. Its not for the want of trying by protect the wild, they and the hunt monitors must get so frustrated when the police don’t do anything about scumbag hunters.
Is there a law to limit a pack size? Apparently dog walkers are only allowed to walk a limited amount of dogs for risk of out of control behaviour as so many makes a pack!
