Every year thousands of fox cubs are ripped to pieces by hunts and the public have no idea it goes on. This heinous activity is known as ‘cubbing’ and is one of fox hunting’s dirtiest secrets. 'Cubbing', usually takes place between August and October, before the main fox hunting season, it’s something that has been going on for years, and it needs to be exposed. The majority of the public have no idea about it, yet it’s arguably more disgusting, more barbaric, and more unethical on every level than fox hunting itself.
This is a static form of hunting and goes on at dusk, where you have hunters on horseback, surrounding wooded areas, sending hounds in, waiting for the fox cubs to be torn apart. This is all done to train the hounds to kill ready for the main hunting season. Polling conducted by Survation on behalf of Protect the Wild last year found that almost 95% of respondents had no idea what cubbing was prior to being surveyed.
Drawing Attention to the Practice
One of the crucial steps to combat cub hunting is to ensure the public is aware of this heinous activity in the first place. To achieve this, we created a spoof sports show titled "The World's Worst Sport." Through this show, we aimed to draw attention to the practice of cub hunting and shed light on the dark reality of this inhumane "sport." By raising awareness and sparking conversations, we hope to rally support for legislative change and bring an end to this cruel tradition.
Campaigning for Legislative Change
Following the exposure of cub hunting through "The World's Worst Sport," our next step is to advocate for legislative change. The Hunting of Mammals Bill is a comprehensive solution we have developed after years of campaigning against hunting. This bill goes beyond mere updates to the Hunting Act 2004 and aims to address the loopholes and exemptions that allow hunts to continue their activities.
The Hunting of Mammals Bill: Arranged in twenty detailed and carefully-worded sections, the Hunting of Mammals Bill proposes significant measures to put an end to cub hunting and all forms of hunting of wild mammals in England and Wales. Some key provisions include:
Introducing a "reckless hunting" clause to make it a crime to intentionally or recklessly hunt a wild mammal with a dog.
Banning so-called "trail hunting" by making it a crime to hunt any mammal with a dog using any animal-based scent.
Holding landowners accountable if they knowingly assist hunts in committing hunting crimes on their property.
Increasing search and seizure powers for the police to confiscate vehicles and mobile phones from hunts in the field.
Holding relevant organizations, such as registered hunts, and their officers liable for crimes committed by hunts.
By supporting and pushing for the enactment of the Hunting of Mammals Bill, we strive to bring an end to the gruesome practice of cub hunting and protect the welfare of all wild mammals. Together, through public awareness and legislative action, we can put an end to this inhumane "sport" and ensure a safer, more compassionate environment for wildlife in the UK.

The majority of the British people want a ban on all hunting. The government knows this, yet ignores the people's wishes, probably because many members of this government are hunters themselves?? All animals are sentient beings, no different from us humans.
It's about time this government listened to the people and ban all hunting for ever.
Sport requires that all parties concerned to CONSENT to the game & the related rules etc. Therefore this is not a sport - but savage MURDER. Lock up these evil bastards.
