As an eighty-one year old lover of football,I think that this game should have nothing to do with blood sports

Many thanks for that Bez, with a name like that it's hardly surprising that this moron supports blood sports!!!

Boycott, anyone that has anything to do with supporting fox hunting, it's an illegal sport. And the police are not doing their job. There is no sense or reason to murder anything just for fun.

I have emailed Chesterfield FC but if it goes ahead is there a local animal rights/hunt sabs group that could organise a demo or some sort of stunt to spoil their evening? When I was part of Wessex Animal Rights many moons ago we did lots of stunts but you have to be careful as once we were outside a circus demonstrating and the lion tamer came out with a gang of thugs and beat us up. My husband got a broken jaw trying to

protect us.

I have emailed the club after reading your request and the evidence of the hunt behaviour. I will akways support speaking out against the hunts that break the law and those who support them and I'm very grateful for all the work you and your members undertake, often at personal risk.

I had already commented on Twitter and I have retweeted one of the posts from a club supporter. I will look out for others and retweet those too.

Do you have a time for this "do?" Please? Just looked, its Saturday, will see if daughter can get someone else to sit her dogs that night. Im about a mile n half away from there. Would love to let my thoughts on their sickening activities out in the open. Im assuming its night time. See what the sick murdering bastards wear on an "evening out." Feel like collecting all fox s..t from park (its big) and plastering the monsters in it. Failing you having time, i will try ringing ground for it. Will probably get myself arrested for my big gob.

I would think (HOPEFULLY) that decent, genuine, football players/supporters, would be against the "SICK" "DISGUSTING" "BLOOD SPORT", "SICKO'S", "FOOTBALL" and other games of "SPORT" are mostly "BRITISH" through and through, now two boxers of same weight, eleven footballers against apposing eleven, two tennis players against each other, we could go on and on about true "GENUINE" "SPORT", but what is "SPORTING" about the "SICK" "FUCKING" "KILLERS/MURDERERS" of "EARTH'S most "AMAZING" "DELIGHTFUL" "BEAUTIFUL" (wildlife lovers know what I am saying) "INCREDIBLE" "WILDLIFE", how the "FUCK" can the hunters "KILL" them, what is there "TWISTED" brain telling them, I just don't get it, I just hope when we all "pop our clogs" there is a special place for "WILDLIFE" KILLERS"" hopefully with the "PEDO'S, etc, "SICK TO DEATH OF THE SCUM WILDLIFE KILLERS"

Whatever decision the board of directors come to could make or break the club, such is the anger of its supporters over the potential hosting of the Barlow hunt, I would like to think that if every single supporter who attends the game on learning that the hunt event was going ahead would leave the ground thus leaving the stands and grounds totally bereft of any support, and while on their way out of the ground they DEMAND a refund of their attendance money. Yes, I know this is far too much to expect but it would emphasize the fact that there is growing solidarity amongst the club's supporters that this behaviour is not only against the law, which is fundamentally fucked up anyway, but it goes against those who have some kind of association with nature and wildlife however small and will not tolerate these assholes'.

As I've intimated in another thread, there are still many many more of these events happening that even PTW don't know anything about so while there have been slight advances in getting convictions and stamping these shitbags out, there are still many more out there that we have no knowledge of so realistically we're not much further forward than we've been for a long time but, I guess it is done kind of progress but it's not happening fast enough.

Chesterfield FC supporters, PLEASE boycott this fixture if it goes ahead and seriously think about your association with the club and your future within it!!

Chesterfield FC directors, PLEASE PLEASE, DO NOT host this evil and barbaric group of law breakers and those others who think it's "FUN" to murder foxes, badgers, deer and other wildlife just to get their kicks, you are much more worthy and far above any of them in stature, don't risk losing all that, (and the potential to lose your supporters), for a bunch of twats that enjoy killing and law breaking for amusement. I think you have a great deal to lose if you make the wrong decision!!

To those club supporters intending to watch the game, I would ask you to search your conscience about attending such an event and indeed, seriously consider your future within the club should it be decided to allow the hunt ball to go ahead! This event MUST NOT be allowed to continue and I hope you will do the decent thing and vote with your feet and your wallets!!

Finally, (for now), Chesterfield FC, SHOULD you allow this event, then it makes you no better than these inconsiderate and once again, barbaric individuals who CLAIM they're "clearing up", I trust you will do the decent thing not only for the club, but the supporters who spend their hard earned cash, turning up at the gates every week, don't disappoint them, you could lose a hell of a lot if you make the incorrect decision, you have been so advised!!!!

It's a disgrace. This is not what the beautiful game is about. More than 90% of us who responded to a 2023 YouGov poll want hunting stopped forever. It has been illegal to hunt wild mammals with a pack of dogs since 2004 yet the Barlow Hunt and the others do it twice a week through half the year anyway. The Duke of Devonshire, who has apparently hosted the Barlow himself, is clearly not suitable for the role because he supports their organised crimes. See the CPS website where organised crime is defined - it fits hunts perfectly. Fuming!

Kate, I have no idea who the duke of Devonshire is but whatever, your description of him is clearly right on the money and he is not fit for the role and should be demoted immediately, (if that's what happens to disgraced dukes!!!!)

The Duke of Devonshire is Peregrine Cavendish!!!

I have sent a polite email, whether it will make a difference, who knows.

If it goes ahead it won't do the club any good.

The Barlow Hunt has broken many laws.
