Disgraceful, when are they going to stop these stupid idiots killing everything that moves. Remove all of the Gamekeepers, that is not their proper name, should be called Destroyers of Wildlife, summon the people who employ them and stop all hunting and shooting. Wicked and totally out of place in modern society.

Well expounded Charlie both from a situational point of view and from a PR one. I would only add to your assessment of their ‘familiarity breeds acceptance’ strategy that they also ‘blague the lie’. This means pushing lies - or at best ‘partial truths’ - as complete/significant truths knowing that unless we challenge them they will become accepted as ‘truths’. This is a classical ‘bully’ tactic and must be constantly opposed in the ongoing PR war. As you have done here. ‘Chapeau’ you for that. (Interesting use of the French expression: I didn’t know it was used in English).

Thanks David. 'Blague the lie' is new on me, but a great phrase: hopefully I'll remember it as I'd like to use it myself :) 'Chapeau' is regularly used by cyclists - much of cycling jargon (like peloton, domestique, musette, bidon) comes from French (I'm assuming like 'blague'), and when I'm not thinking about this sort of thing (which is most of the time!), I'm either watching cycling or - er, cycling. Cheers

The Shooting and killing of birds, foxes, grouse, badgers, any living creature is at the risk of Gamekeepers, hired assassins would be more appropriate. They are people of little brain and therefore serve their masters well. The Masters also having little brain!

BIG PROBLEM.....in Lincolnshire, there are a disproportionate number of 'officers' and politically motivated individuals that support and participate in bloodlust activities.

Many still have great respect for our outdated and dictatorial system here, and see any opposition to 'traditional' sporting activities, as descent.....to be called out and punished by humiliation.

SAD INNIT?😱

All these country pursuits use lies to back up their sick blood sports. Foxes kill sheep for goodness sake and people believe it. No animal is safe in this country from cruelty
