This only underlines the fact that the Police are in the Hunt's pockets, the judiciary are bent anyway and are probably hunters too. Waste of time following a legal route, so we need to make life for this human dross as difficult as possible. Find service industries who support anti hunting, perhaps produce a window sticker that says 'No Hunt Supporters Welcomed Here', deny them access to shops, pubs, garages, whatever...

The law says one thing, enforcing it is another matter whilst we are battling against both Police and Judiciary. I emphasise they are not our friends...

Well said. I’d add that by identifying the businesses these excuses for humans are involved in, we can expose them for what they really are and boycott their companies. Hit them in the pocket and make the ignorant (not their fault) public aware of the truth

The writers on this substack are so brilliantly informed and write so eloquently they really should write a regular column in a newspaper or general media somewhere so all members of the public who are not well informed have the information planted in front of them! Is there a media form that would dare? I wish!

This hunt should be shut down, they have no regard for peoples safety or the private or public land they shoot on.

As I read this I am heartbroken. I deplore any torture, unnecessary kill of wildlife (any vulnerable, defenseless being). I rack my brain trying to make a plan on how it could be stopped, the perpetrators be punished to the max. Protect The Wild has an extremely hard goal - I pray that you can be successful very soon (and I'm not religious). I fully support and agree that the businesses that adhere to this blood sport (pubs, restaurants, shops etc) are hit hard in the wallet. I follow Pacific Wild who have put up billboards on major highways and have had success with the general public being informed and against our British Columbian Government (Canada) cull on our wolves. A wolf is collared, it takes them back to his pack (family), they are all shot from a helicopter. This is all paid for with millions of our tax dollars.

They are definitely not doing it to help the wolf population. Wolves are being blamed for our decline in Caribou, which are actually in decline because of lost habitat (logging etc) I ask why the hell are they killing one species to save another? They should just butt out and let nature run it's own course. Yes, a lot are NOT clean shots, a lot do suffer on the ground. Also a wolf was found with a tight "Government" issued collar on. That was being slowly choked to death. By the time they found the wolf (still a live) the collar was imbedded in it's neck. I could go on a lot longer about this, but Pacific Wild.org is much better with all the facts and figures than me. Pacific Wild and Fur Bearers have finally been able to access photos of these kills, for the public. I can't look at them, can barely read or talk about them.
