Until this “traditional” barbarity is recognised for what is really is then nothing will change. My daughter works with a young man who was raised to this and sees it as a gentlemanly passtime, defies belief. Mass murder for fun, what a sick society.
Totally wicked. Guns should be taken away from these idiots, in fact guns should only be allowed to The Armed Services and the Police. Not the Royal family, who actually are not so royal! Or any other Tom, Dick or Harry! Killing for fun is actually shwowing disturbed minds!
Isn't deliberately introducing a non-indigenous species illegal? A law for some and not for others? The lengths they go to to try to wipe out grey squirrels (deliberately introduced as 'pets' by Victorians), and they call that 'conservation'!
Were meant to be a nation of animal lovers??? What a upsetting scene we have these wonderful birds around our farm and we always give them the grace and time to move around freely beautiful birds if not a bit slow but they brighten our days up. Pity the gun totting ratbags dont see them for what they are instead of target practise 🤬🤬🤬
Joeann, the pheasants you see around your farm are the lucky ones who got away! Feed them and they will stay close….and away from those horrible shooters 🙏🙏🙏
Im lucky we dont have idiots with guns around were we live so they enjoy a peaceful fulfilled happy life just being the crazy birds they want to be thanks for reply 🩷🩷
Yet again the City Gun slingers claim this is a countryside “tradition”. Tradition?! Not so long ago Poaching was the only way country folk could eat meat, and the landowners Gamekeepers put out Man Traps out to catch them!
Another excellent piece from Mr Moores. Accurate, detailed and yet succinct it sets out the shitstory that is game bird shooting. If ever you wanted a story to represent the bullying, selfish behaviour of man towards his environment and wildlife then this has to be it.
Thank you David. " If ever you wanted a story to represent the bullying, selfish behaviour of man towards his environment and wildlife then this has to be it."? Agreed.
