Every one of these vermin needs to be trounced. I’d ask everyone to make as many aware, friends, family, dropping in to a conversation I find works better than ‘announcing’ it) that these are wildlife hating toe rags who deserve to be booted out like this government

all those mentioned need to go, it is clear they are not impartial and a number of them have hunting and shooting interests - why does that not disqualify them ?

I've received my polling card & I plan to put an X through my vote. Every year the police budget goes up, crime rates soar & there's less & less police on the streets. What's going on, where's all the money going ? Facial recognition cameras, speeding fines, home reprocessing aided by the police, yet when my 85 year old mother got robbed, they closed the case within days 😢 Now there after the elderly for not being able to afford their TV licence & meanwhile there arresting people on social media for upsetting the abc's. In Scotland its okay to blame the whites yet that's not racially motivated ? ULEZ in London, stabbings out of control & 9 times out of 10, its illegals & BLM feral gangs.

The Labour candidate in the Devon & Cornwall Crime Commissioner is definitely tougher on illegal hunts. He says this on his Facebook page: “I’ve received lots of concerns around preventing wildlife crime and illegal fox hunting. My view is simple, it is illegal and has no place in our society.”

Thank you for all the info re PCCs. I have received leaflet from Labour candidate but no mention of interest re wildlife crime. I will write to ask where he stands on this concern. Have other subscribers also received info leaflets from their candidates and if so is wildlife crime mentioned on them??

I’ve just posted that the Labour candidate for Devon and Cornwall PCC is definitely intending to address wildlife crime. Try finding your candidate’s Facebook page and see if they’ve specifically commented on it there. If not, ask them.

LABOUR SAY THEY WILL BRING IN A TOTAL HUNTING BAN, GREAT HOW DO YOU ENFORCE THIS LAW WHEN HUNTERS WILL GO ONTO PRIVATE LAND WHOSE OWNER SUPPORTS CRUEL BLOOD SPORTS? WE HAVE SEEN HARE COURSEING ON LAND WHERE THE OWNERS HAVE TRIED TO STOP THESE SO CALLED PEOPLE BUT HAVE ENDED UP BEING ATTACKED. THE POLICE ARE OUT IN FORCE WHEN HUNTING WAS LEGAL, BUT ARE NOT AROUND WHEN ENFORCING THE HUNTING BAN LAW.

Dorset, chalk valleys - labour or liberal? Who is best for the wildlife?

I have sent messages to the Mayoral and PCC candidates in my area asking where they stand on the strengthening of the 2005 Hunting Act. My decision to vote or not to vote depends on whether (a) they reply and (b) they promise to support strong action being taken to wipe out hunts.

It amazes me that in their campaign lists of what they want to do when elected, it's nothing but 'people need this . . . people need that'. No mention of the other life forms that inhabit this country and deserve consideration for their welfare and survival.

I can back up your information re Alison Hernandez and her bias towards bloodsport supporters. We have recently had reason to contact Alison Hernandez as part of an ongoing wildlife crime investigation. We did not receive a reply. We also emailed the three candidates for the upcoming election for the Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime Commissioner, asking them their policy on wildlife crime. Only Daniel Steel replied and was clear about his distain for bloodsports and would fight for the welfare of wildlife. We will be voting for Daniel in May.
