On January 23rd, 2025, whilst sabbing the activities of the Thurlow Hunt, North London Hunt Saboteurs witnessed a heartbreaking incident: a foxhound was fatally injured after being kicked in the head by a hunt horse.
If my dog was this badly injured and I didn't take it to the vet immediately I would be prosecuted for cruelty and neglect under the animal act. I hope this will be investigated otherwise what message are we sending out. These vile entitled people think they are above the law.
Unacceptable! These dogs are not cared for, they are used and abused and cruelly treated for one reason only...more cruelty. Those poor dogs, horses and wildlife..these people are vile animal haters...prosecute them now for cruelty, what is the matter with the law for goodness sake.
Please don't blame the horse. It is incredibly sad this happened although not really surprising where so many dogs may be around horses legs the horse may feel it is being attacked. I have been on a horse where a single dog determinedly barked and nipped at his legs when not controlled by its owner. My horse panicked but horse and dog were unharmed. As usual, in this case, it was the fault of humans who treat both dog and horse as tools without consideration for their welfare. It is another case of not caring about hound welfare to add to the list of crimes against the poor dogs. After all, what's another dead hound to them!
We all know whats happened😡 their not going to pay a vet to put this poor dog out of its injuries these vile monsters will have shot it top n bottom of it no dignity for the poor dog then thrown into a skip
ENOUGH !! The only way to get this publically aired once and for all is for a televised debate between the BHSA, the RSPCA, the CPS, the National Terrier Working Association and Rob Palmer/ Chris Packham- covering solely the reckless abandonment of canine welfare during field sports.
Every time I read about human scum in red, I hate them a little more. I would love to think that this little soul was taken for immediate veterinary care but everything in me knows that the best that could be hoped for is a bullet to the head. I have seen footage of hounds being killed by the blows of a shovel to the head. RIP Little Soul L x
it is truly not surprising at all how these "hunters" treat the hounds. I use that term 'hunters' loosely because most true hunters aren't as sadistic and have the slightest more compassion for their prey, they don't get a boner torturing a defencless animal. It's not their fault they were bred to "entertain" . I don't blame the horse. They are just another 'tool' for them to get their rocks off. My heart breaks for that poor foxhound to have suffered so much before it was put to sleep.
Psychopaths like this are zapping up good oxygen. How i wish their faces were turned to mush and the suffering of horses, dogs, wildlife and all the domestic pets they deliberately kill and harm would end.

I totally agree with you. Labour lied when they promised to stop hunting.
Hunters are the lowest of the low.
I hope that there is a place in hell waiting for them.

Poor little baby. The hounds and horses of these sicko scumbags are helpless victims too.

What a Great pity it wasn't one of the red coats kicked in the head by a horse.
They will most likely have shot the dog unfortunately 😔
